MANAGER  #99 Jim Kopan P/1B, 29th season in league (32nd overall), 11th season on team
  Has pitched in every league championsip series since 1988, except 1991 and 1999, for 8 different teams.  Has 13 Shenango Valley titles with 4 different teams (Sts. Peter & Paul, St. John's 2, Spadafora, DSM/Pioneer/Mercer Bowl) and 10 runner-up finishes.  Has pitched 4 ASA PA state titles (Major 2008, A 2001 [.813 BA 13/16 6 triples; 4-0 pitching], 35+ 2002, Church 1988), with several 2nd (A 1996 & 2007, B 1999) and 3rd place finishes.  Previously managed St. Mikes 1, WHAC, and Billy's.  In 1990, won the league HR derby, and was a perrenial power threat and .500 hitter in the "pre-live bat" era of the 80's and early 90's.  With over 300 regular season and 100+ post-season pitching victories (2 playoff no-hitters), is known as a quick bunt defender with a hard fast ball and crisp riser, and in past decades played solidly at 2B, 3B, and OF.  Began at age 15 in 1979 for Sharon Baptist in old W.PA Church Modified League

COACH  #5 Eric "Skinner" Bombeck  3B, 30th season in league, 7th season on team
   One of the prolific defensive 3rd basemen and lead-off/on-base/contact hitters in the history of the league.  Has played on 6 league championship teams (St. John's 2, Coast to Coast, Pioneer/Mercer Bowl), 5 league runners-up, 2 ASA state champs (A 2000, 35+ 2002), and an ASA runner-up (A 2007).  Was a manager for 15 years (St. Mike's 2, St. John's 2, Coast to Coast).  Of all active league members, is currently 2nd in seasons played.
 
#73 Bryan Bailey P/1B, 9th season in league (17th overall), 5th season on team
 Well known as a power hitter in both Franklin & Shenango Valley, has recently transformed from a long time third baseman into one of the area's top pitchers, specializing in off-speed and slow breaking pitches.  In this league, has played on 3 championship and 2 runner-up squads.  Pitched for the ASA of PA 35+ champs in 2002, plus other top 3 state finishers in class B.  Has been named MVP of the Minor National Tournament twice.
 
#22 Chad McComb OF, 16th season in league, 6th season on team
  This strong-armed and power-hitting left fielder has claimed league titles with Advanced Auto in 1998, Coast to Coast in 2000, and his last trio with Mercer Bowl the past 3 years.  He has played for 3 runner-up squads. He was a leading hitter on the 2000 ASA of PA class A champs. 
 
#3 Brian Bodien 2B/OF, 8th season in league, 7th season on team
  A perrenial on-base leader and contact specialist, he has been a member of the '04, '07, '08, and '09 league champions, with two other league finals appearances.
 
#2 Jon Murray OF/C, 6th season in league and on team
  Has been part of the last three title teams and finalist teams his first two seasons.  A solid catcher, his switch to left center in 2007 helped anchor a speedy outfield.
 
#34 Dave Bodien C, 5th season in league, 4th season on team
  Mixing power and contact for a high slugging percentage, he has been part of the championship teams the past three years, as well as the runner-up team of 2006.
 
#77 Devin Corini OF, 4th season in league and team
  A dangerous power threat during any at bat, his long ball has sparked many comebacks during his three championship seasons on the team.
 
#64 Craig Songer DH/1B, 4th season in league and team
  During his tenure on the past three championship teams, he has added a power threat, whether from the DH spot or in crucial pinch hit situations.
 
#11 Justin Songer SS, 4th season in league and team
  A power hitting shortstop with great range, he helped shore up the middle infield to spark the past three team titles.
 
#21 Tim Murray OF, 3rd season in league and team
  One of the top rookie hitters in the league in 2008, he added his second modified championship in 2009 while starting his pitching career at 2-0 (2 shutouts).
 
#1 Sean Murray OF, 2nd season in league and team
   Used in pinch hit situations and spot starts, won a title during his rookie year.
 
#7 Marty Bour 2B, 24th season in league, 6th season on team
 After starting his career with St. Joe's 2, has followed Bombeck's teams since the late 80's, and therefore boasts an almost identical resume' for the same franchises:  6 championship and 5 runners-up league teams, and 2 ASA state champions.  A perenial all-star outfielder most of his career, he has moved to 2B following shoulder injuries earlier this decade.
